Nigeria's phenomenally gifted singer offers through her beautiful music something new and unusual coming out of Africa. Born into the famous Ransome-Kuti family of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, Fran is a renowned dental surgeon whose vocal quality ranks among the world's best.

She and her prolific composer husband - Tunde Kuboye jointly run their famous JAZZ 38 Centre for the Arts in Lagos, promoting internationalism through musical and youth development programmes.
